Jonathan Murchason - I was born in 1187, the son of a Viking
warrior and his Irish-born wife. I have spent much of my young
life traveling with my father and mother, visiting the North
countries, France, and even the lands of the Saracens. When I was
seven, my family was befriended by a Celtic Chieftain, Cona
MacPherson. His exploits in battle, and Chivalry on and off the
field, was so renowned that he was Knighted in the fair kingdom
of Meridies. As the friendships between my father and Sir Cona's
family of mercenary warriors, the Clan of Bloody Ridge, grew, we
were invited to join the household. My father saw many great
battles with the household, fighting alongside Sir Cona's squires
Lord Gwalchmei ap Cynhaeran and Lord Dieter von Rotweil, and
other well respected lords, the likes of which include Lord
Garrott O'Rowark and Lord Sebastian le Fleur. As the warriors of
the Clan prepared for battle, I would help them with their armour
and weapons, and offer them water when they came off the battle
field. Sir Cona seemed pleased with my eagerness to be near the
action, to take my place beside him and my father as a warrior,
so, at the Tournament of the Red Tower, he asked if I would be
his page. He offered to guide and instruct me in the arts of
battle, Chivalry, and Honor. I accepted, honored that he had
chosen to take me as a student. I continue to serve as his pupil,
that I may one day take my place beside him, my father, and the
other noble lords that have gone before me.
